Welcome to McCain’s Bakery & Café
McCain’s Bakery & Café has been part of the Salado community since 2008, serving homemade breakfast, lunch, baked goods, and coffee in the heart of town. Today, McCain’s continues that tradition under the ownership of Allysan and Slade, two locals passionate about preserving the café people know and love while thoughtfully carrying it into its next chapter.
When the opportunity came to take ownership of McCain’s, it wasn’t about changing what made the café special. It was about protecting the welcoming atmosphere, familiar faces, and sense of community that have always made this place feel like home.
From early mornings baking in the kitchen to greeting regulars by name, McCain’s remains rooted in comfort, connection, and homemade food made with care. While you’ll still find longtime favorites on the menu, you may also notice new ideas, seasonal specials, and small touches that reflect the vision and heart behind this next season of the café.
